Fundraising at Shorenorth
Fundraising at Shorenorth Cooperative Preschool consists of a variety of popular activities established by the fundraising committee. Fundraising is an essential portion of the co-op’s operating budget, contributing to expenses such as supplies, equipment, field trips, professional development, scholarships, and expanding the activities in the classroom. We are really proud of our school environment, and it has been made possible by dedicated fundraising of our members. Fundraising allows the school to keep tuition as low as possible and therefore accessible to a diverse population.
- Holiday Wreaths – The first of two annual fundraisers for Shorenorth. Our Co-op will begin selling holiday wreaths as early as September. The wreaths are locally sourced, gorgeous, and competitively priced. They will be delivered the week before Thanksgiving.
- Escrip – is an easy way to raise money for our school. To benefit Shorenorth, sign up under our title, “Shorenorth Cooperative Preschool” and you will be benefiting our school simply by making purchases you would already be making.
- Spring Carnival and Silent Auction – This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it’s always very fun! It features a family-oriented carnival with games and activities PLUS a silent auction. The 2018 Spring Carnival and Silent Auction will be held on April 28th 2017, 10 AM-2 PM at Shoreline Community College.
